What is Setup?

A setup is the initial building and design for your company or product logo and costs of:

Art revision - your design is "fit" for either embroidery or print. Specific parameters are critical to make your logo look it's very best in either thread or ink.

Color separations - specific areas are designated for the different thread/ink colors.

Computer Disc Digitized - your design is formatted on a disc to allow our embroidery machines to sew it. Specific details must be identified:

Caps: 6-panel or 5-panel
Flat goods: jackets, shirts,
blankets
Bags Various materials: corduroy, fleece, canvas, nylon, cotton, twill
Placement location: sleeve, cuff, capback or front or side, full back

Sew-out - your job is made and filed, along with all the details of your account for future reference.

Do I need to already have a logo or design?

No, Plain Jan's has designed many logos for both embroidery and screen printing. You just need an idea or rough sketch. We'll proceed from there.

What if I have a logo, but want to change, revise or add to it?

No problem. Just FAX or e-mail what you have now. Plain Jan's can do the needed revisions, FAX it back for your OK and we're set.

How long will it take to get my order?

Usually first time orders take 2- 4 weeks. It takes at least 7 working days to get your setup done. We order your goods immediately and usually items are shipped to us in 7 - 10 days. Our production crew starts to sew as soon as both the disc and your goods are ready. This takes anywhere from 2 - 4 weeks.

Reorders can go out, usually, within two weeks.

What if I need a RUSH ORDER?

We can do it...but it will cost ya'. We can get even new orders out QUICK, if you can pick IN-STOCK items. Rush charges are on a $pecial quote ba$i$.

What do you mean by "you can assort colors/styles"?

As long as you order in increments of one dozen per style or color, you can assort. Here's an order example:

Golf Caps 1 dozen - solid black 3 dozen - black with white 2 dozen - solid red	This order of golf caps and traditional caps qualifies you for the 12 dozen pricing. All caps do NOT have to be the same. Just order in dozens.
Traditional Caps 6 dozen - forest green

Can I change the color of my design?

Sure! Plain Jan's can use your specific color choices, or we can just match thread/ink colors that go well with whatever goods you order. Each cap or shirt or jacket style could use a totally different color scheme - You can choose, or let us.

Can the same design work for caps and jacket?

YEP! We do most cap designs in a 2" x 4" size, left-chest designs may be larger up to 5" x 5" and full back size is a maximum of 10" x 10". We can adjust your design to fit all sizes.

Do you keep my setup on file?

Sure! Because Plain Jan's knows you'll place lots more orders. And you only pay that setup charge 1-time. After that, there's no charge for reorder setup.
