Integrated pest management for your livestock facility, PlainJans, Kansas

Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. PlainJan's has had a Relay For Life team since 2002. In 5 years we have raised over $25,000 for the American Cancer Society through sales of our Famous PlainJan's Gloves at tradeshows and conventions and other fund-raising events, acheiving Silver Team Status in 2003 and *Gold Team Status in 2004, 2005, & 2006. *raising $5000 or more per year

Dave and Erin Killough at the 2006 Relay for Life in Scott City. Erin is Jan's oldest daughter. She was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in 2005. After successful treatment she is "LOOKIN' GOOD!" Erin's successful treatment was made possible by the research being funded by the ACS Relays all over the country. Thank you to everyone who is working hard and donating money to make these Relays such a success.

Since 2000 PlainJan's has donated over 25,000 t-shirts, bags and gloves and other items to Scott City Elementary School, the Scott County Library, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Tumbleweed Rodeo, The Scott County Foundation, the Scott City Stars swim team, and the churches of Scott City. We have also provided at a greatly reduces prices a variety of items for clubs, civic groups, ball teams, etc. PlainJan's believes in the future of Scott City and strives to make it a better place to live.
