| About the President and General ManagerJan Huck was born and raised on a feedyard-farm in Lyons, Kansas. In 1972 Jan graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. and continued on with graduate work at Wichita State University. Jan and husband, Rick (co-owner) moved to Scott City, KS and raised three daughters. Jan founded PlainJan's FeedlotServices in 1987 offering only a very basic BIOLOGICAL FLY CONTROL PROGRAM and 1 employee servicing 25 feedyards in central and western Kansas. Many of these original feedyards are PlainJan business partners today. In 1989 Jan added both a Rat & Mouse control and a Weed control program, began offering 3-service true INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT programs. Currently PlainJan's is the nation's largest commercial livestock pest control company with over 100 accounts throughout a six state target area.
